AI CV Reviewer — What We Store and Why

The Ofoodiez AI CV Reviewer (the "Service") reviews your CV against the Ofoodiez job-search & CV guide and generates an optimized version you can download. To do that it has to process and keep your CV — this page explains exactly what is stored, why, for how long, and how to have it removed.

Your agreement

Ticking the consent box and uploading your CV means you agree that Ofoodiez stores your CV and the generated results as described below, and may use them to match you with relevant job opportunities (for example through the Referrals Bot community). This consent is required — without it the Service can't run. See also the Privacy Policy.

1. What we store

The file you upload (your original CV), kept for audit/history.
The content extracted from it — your name, contact details, experience, skills, education — used as the factual basis for the review.
The optimized CV we generate (Word, PDF and text versions).
The review results — scores, feedback, the list of changes and skill recommendations.
The job title/description you paste, if any.
Basic operational data (timestamps, processing stats). We never store your uploaded file anywhere public.

2. Why we store it

To run the review and let you download your optimized CV.
To keep your CV on file so we can offer you relevant job opportunities that match your profile — the same idea as the Referrals Bot.
To improve the Service (e.g. checking review quality). We never sell your data and never share your CV publicly.

3. What we deliberately do NOT do

Your optimized CV never includes your precise home address — city at most.
We never invent experience, skills or numbers — the optimized CV is built only from what your original CV actually says.
We never fetch links you paste; job descriptions are processed as text only.
Your CV is shared with a specific employer or advocate only through flows where you explicitly ask for it (e.g. requesting a referral).

4. AI processing

Reviews are generated with Google's Gemini API under Google's paid service data terms. Your CV content is sent to that API solely to produce your review and is not used by us for anything else.

5. How long we keep it

Completed reviews are kept so we can match you with opportunities — until you ask us to delete them.
Uploads that never completed (errors, abandoned runs) are deleted automatically within about 7 days.

6. Your rights

Providing your CV is voluntary. Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time — email [email protected] and we'll remove your CV and results.

7. No guarantees & liability

The review is automated advice, provided "as is" — always read the optimized CV yourself before sending it anywhere. Ofoodiez is not liable for hiring outcomes or decisions made based on the Service.
